Moorabool Street, Geelong

Part of the broader Central Activities Area Revitalisation Program (CAARP), Moorabool Street was the main street of Geelong to get a radical face lift. CAARP was a major program of redevelopment for central Geelong on the back of the success of the new Waterfront redevelopment.

Moorabool street was tired, degraded with many closed shops. The new plans brought the street up to contemporary standards and revitalised the heart  of Geelong connecting to the popular waterfront. The street was totally rebuilt including services, road lowering and new materials, fully grown palms, (linking with the foreshore), furniture and lighting.
