Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) and Council became aware of a pedestrian hazard along an old footpath and forecourt area in front of GPAC. Initially the area was going to be asphalted, however it was decided that with a small increase in budget and reusing old materials, we could create a pocket park and new entrance to GPAC. A partnership with the Geelong Gallery, across the road, secured a loan for a significant sculpture in the park.
